More work: This first piece...Children of Angels, deals with the children in the poems For the Love of Jason and Katie's crying...found on Custom page one

Children Of Angels

For the love of Jason
And to hear Katie cry
We must stop for a moment
To wonder why

These children of angels
Are sent to this earth
They suffer so much
Like they have no worth.

Do they not deserve our love?
Our kind and gentle touch
Smiles to heal the wounded heart
Encouraging words that would mean so much

Why must there be some among us
That gives out so much pain
Able to hurt something so precious
Their lives to stain

Our Children of Angels
Hearts so pure
Hardships that they carry
Pains they endure

I Will See You There

Don't feel sorry for me
Don't think I am weak
Even though I have this disease
I will not be beat

For even if I die
My spirit will carry on
In the memory of my love ones
Long after my body is gone

I will not forget you either
For you I will wait
Standing there to greet you
In front of the pearly gates

My arms will be wide open
To gather you in embrace
Tears of joy in my eyes
Love upon my face

Our time there will not be broken
For time will not be
Wings of angels we will have
From our earthly trouble we are free

So I shall see you there
But dont hurry your time here
For it comes soon enough
Sometimes closer than we fear

The days of Thomas

So brave and young
But so very ill and weak
Thomas is only five years old
And his future is mighty bleak

Fragile smile upon his face
Weariness is in his eyes
So tired is Thomas
He's ready to say his good-byes

Yet there is a few more things
That he must do
He must give courage
To me and you

That sometimes courage isnt lost
When you have given you're all
When the fight couldnt be won
You only had to answer your call

He's taught us so many lessons
Like that love doesnt die
Even after the body is gone
And said is the good-bye

And hope that one day
Once again we will meet
To love together forever
Gods little treat.

To All But Jessica

Mind shattering pain
Between her hips
A earth shaking scream
Passes her lips

Thirteen years old
And all alone
Jessica had her first baby
In bed at home

She knows before she looks
Her baby is dead
Oh what will she do
Her mind fills with dread

She calls out for her grandfather
For at his home she stayed
He took the child away
And into the ground the body he laid

Not much was spoken
Almost forgotten after a few years
To all but Jessica
As her eyes filled with tears

She's learned to live
But hasnt learned to forget
She pulls her chin up
But the hurting hasnt stopped as yet

To carry on with her life
The best she can
Shut away the memories
That is her plan

All too often it comes back
To flash through her mind
All she can hope for
Is a little more peace in time.
